It is the year of the Great Exhibition and scientific discoveries are throwing new light on the far flung territories of the British Empire. As two sisters come to terms with the disappearance of their explorer father on his latest expedition, they discover the brave new worlds lying just beyond their reach.
Part performance, part installation, Brave New World 1, the first in a series of design-led projects, is an evocative search for Utopia.
